Unutrašnji, iracionalni pritisak koji se kod mene, pogotovo nakon svih takmičenja i sazrevanja pred očima javnosti, samo uvećao i postao hronično opterećenje rezultata, ponašanja, izgleda i svih ostalih oblasti života – započela je priču Sara, pa nastavila…
Gubila sam vreme i trošila energiju baveći se sitnicama, nastavljala iz dana u dan da analiziram svaki mogući detalj. Temeljno i opsesivno.
Izgubila sam produktivnost, nisam umela da odradim prioritete. Sve je moralo podjednako da bude savršeno jer samo je „najbolje“ dovoljno dobro.
Plašila sam se osuda i kritika. Bilo mi je važno šta drugi misle i ako bilo ko uoči grešku, prezirala bih sebe. Nisam umela da uživam u uspesima – koliko god veliki uspeh bio, nikada nisam bila zadovoljna. Identifikovala sam se sa svojim rezultatom misleći da isključivo on govori o meni.
Okruženje nas od malih nogu uči da budemo hrabri i jaki, da ne pridajemo važnost strahovima. Umesto da razgovaramo o njima i na vreme ih se oslobađamo – napisala je Jovanovićeva, a onda objasnila kako se toga rešava.
