Patrola Vojske Srbije sa baze Mrče u Kopnenoj zoni bezbednosti danas oko 16.30 uočila je u rejonu Ugljarski krš, u blizini administrativne linije sa KiM, grupu od oko 12 lica u nelegalnoj seči šume, koja su po nailasku patrole opalila metak u vazduh, saopšteno je iz Ministarstva odbrane.
Vojna patrola nakon toga ispalila je hitac upozorenja u vazduh i krenula ka grupi, koja je pustila psa na pripadnike VS, dok su se iz šumarka na oko 200 metara dalje čula još dva rafala.
Predpatrolom navedena lica su se zatim razbežala i povukla u pravcu južne srpske pokrajine.
Tokom incidenta nije bilo povređenih.
Deo snaga za intervenciju stavljen je u povišen stepen pripravnosti, dok je Vojska upoznala Kfor sa incidentom.
U saopštenju se još ističe da će Vojska Srbije nastaviti da štiti bezbednost i imovinu građana Srbije.
